BACKGROUND
DOSS Business Systems opened its doors in 1989 in a small one-room
facility with one employee. The business specialized in computer
technical support, sales and cabling. In 1992, Paul Doss purchased
a 100% stock buy out of the corporation Terill Business Systems,
Inc. A DBA (doing business as) name change with the state of
OHIO took place in 1993. The purpose of the DBA name change
was to give DOSS some independent identity and recognition.
Please note that Terill Business Systems, Inc. and DOSS Business
Systems are one in the same. Both names represent the same corporation.
As business began to grow, DOSS moved its
business to downtown Greenville
and hired more employees to fill the demands of the growing
business. The
business continued to grow by specializing in network design
with reliability and ease of operation in mind. In November,
1996, DOSS moved to its
present location. The new location enabled DOSS to add additional
staff,
increase the equipment line, and expand its service and support
departments.
The new location provides a modern training center for home
users or
businesses, engineering and staff support offices, a conference
room equipped for presentations, and a service department.
In 1997, DOSS purchased Telcom Business Telephone
Division and became an authorized Toshiba sales and service
center. The acquisition of this business has positioned DOSS
to now offer personalized integrated computer and/or communication
systems. Our solutions provide customers a competitive edge
in the business environment through turnkey solutions where
we provide all design, implementation, installation, training,
and support.
In 2005, DOSS announced the acquisition of
the assets and customer base of J-Tec Inc. Customer Premise
Division (CPE).
